Mr Abdslam specialises in knee and hip surgery. He has undertaken intensive post-graduate training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in Germany and the UK (Birmingham, Sheffield and Nottingham). During his training, he has researched a variety of orthopaedic problems publishing peer-reviewed journals and presenting both nationally and internationally.

As a consultant, Mr Abdlslam continues to play an active role in training medical students, junior doctors and trainee surgeons. He is an educational supervisor and a Royal College Tutor overseeing the training of junior doctors in his specialty.
​
Mr Abdlslam specialises in all aspects of knee surgery including Knee replacement, with particular interest in Computer Navigated Knee Replacement and arthroscopic knee surgery for soft tissue reconstructions (including cruciate).
Mr Abdlslam uses the Enhanced Recovery Programme for hip and knee replacement surgery.
